Negative Cut Goalkeeper Gloves
Negative cut goalkeeper gloves are a more modern cut that has increased in popularity over the past few years, especially in club across Europe with many goalkeepers taking advantage of the new style.
The negative cut refers to the stitching of the glove being on the inside. The front of the glove is attached to the back via gussets to provide a squarer, wider finger shape but this is all hidden on the inside of the glove.
The advantage this gives is more surface area of the latex to grip the ball, along with a more comfortable and snug fit for the hand within the glove. This is important for dexterity when handling the ball and throwing it out to your outfield players as it gives you more control over your handling.
Some goalkeepers use two or three pairs of goalkeeper gloves and have them in circulation between training and match days, making them last longer and giving you options for different climates or environments where you may need more grip - such as in rainy conditions or blustery days with lots of wind.
Our range of negative cut goalkeeper gloves includes a variety of styles of designs that you can use to match to your kit or to stand out in contrast. We use the finest, freshest German latex for the palms of our goalkeeper gloves so you can be confident that you will be using a high quality glove that will enhance your performance.
