Football Boots
20th May 2009: We have got our fourth prototype back of the Tocco Football Boots, but are not happy with a number of features on the boot as of yet. William (head designer) will fly out to our factory to get the finished article just right, later on in 2009 when time allows it. Launching our Irish, German, Maltese, Slovenian and Swedish websites have proved too time consuming - meaning we could not spend the sufficient development time needed to get the Tocco Football Boots to the standard that we expect of Zapkam products. Unfortunately this means that we will not be releasing the Tocco Football Boots with this year's range on the 1st July 2009. Watch this space for further updates later on in the year. 16th July 2008: Our final designs for our Football Boots, for the 2009-2010, have been finished. The long and tiresome process - of testing, testing and more testing will begin in the commencing months. Zapkam will be testing the Football Boots, with a number of Endorsees around the country. Feedback will be given by these players at Professional level, along with a number of players at Club level. Of course both types of player are extremely important, in terms of feedback, when creating a product. Zapkam pride ourselves on listening to what our customers want. Furthermore diversifying from our superb range of Team Wear, Goalkeeper Gloves, Goalkeeper Equipment, Casual Wear, Base Layers and Referee Wear, Zapkam will be creating Footwear for the 2009-2010 season. The Footwear range will consist of 2 pairs of Football Boots and 1 pair of Astro Turf Trainers. 1 pair of Football Boots will have a moulded sole, for hard ground - the other 1 will be a studded boot, for soft ground. They will be aimed at the Professional and Elite standard player.
